Infinity Prisms & Captured Rivolis
May 17, 2009
11:00pm - 5:00pm
Infinity Prisms & Captured Rivolis
Gwen Fisher

Infinity Weave is a new technique that is similar to an embellished version of right angle weave, yet it is remarkably rigid, so is a great weave for beaded beads. Each Infinity Prism uses seed beads in two or three sizes, and tiny drop beads can also embellish the surface. The Infinity Prism is remarkably amenable to changes in bead sizes, so you can use a variety of different size beads to create different shapes, all with the same pattern. Diagrams are included for several variations. You can also capture rivolis, coins, and other round beads, and even make a bracelet. Since cubes are prisms, this pattern also provides a background discussion on basic beaded cubes and easy beaded prisms, including photos and illustrations.
